Cancellations:
100% 12 hours or less. 50% 24 hours notice
We understand that things can come up. We value your time and we hope you value ours too.
As a result, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or make any changes to your appointment.
Falling to give us 24 hours notice will result in a 50% charge of the service amount and less then 12 hours notice will result in a 100% charge of the service amount.
Failure to give adequate notice when cancelling or rescheduling may result in all future appointments requiring a deposit upon booking.
No Show:
When your appointment is scheduled for you and you do not show up, you are automatically marketed down as a ‘no show’ in our computer system. This will result in 100% charge of the full service amount before being able to rebook a future service. Deposit may be requested to rebook after no showing.
Making changes to your service:
Booked services can not be altered less the 24 hours or on arrival of your appointment. If you would like to take something off your service the full fee will still be charged unless adequate notice is given.
Confirming your appointment:
Your appointment date and time is reserved for you, The Beauty project will send you a confirmation text message 24 hours prior to your appointment to remind you. You are required to reply ‘Y’ for Yes or cancel with ‘N’ for No.
If you do not confirm your appointment your allocated time may be given to another client without notice.
Arrival time:
Please arrive on time to your scheduled appointment. If you are lost or running late, please contact the salon so we can try and accommodate you.
We run by appointment, therefor late arrivals of 10 minutes or more may result in your allocated time being reduced, or we may not be able to honour your appointment in the time remaining.
If you a repeatedly late, we will require you to pay a 50% deposit of the service amount for all further bookings. This deposit will be non refundable.
Updating our staff about recent heath concerns / medications:
Please always keep our staff updated with new health concerns , changes in medications or active skincare products in which you are currently using. Some of these will have an interference on some of the treatments we provide. It is always import to keep us updated so we can make adjustments to your client profiles and treatments to avoid any serious reactions.
No fake tan wearing when having brow treatments:
Wearing fake tan on your face when having a brow tinting service can cause an undesirable green/orange tinge to your brows. If you choose to go ahead with this treatment you must let our staff know and they will perform a thorough brow cleanse, to remove as much tan residue as possible. The Beauty Project team will take no responsibility for any unwanted colour changes. And you will still be required to pay the full service fee.
Responsibility for Children and personal items in salon:
Please arrive solo.
We strive for every client to receive 100% relaxation and comfort. We ask that children are accompanied by adults at all times, and carefully monitored. Please be aware that beauty services require full attention, extended time and precision from our staff. We do not accommodate a play area for children unfortunately.
Please also note that personal items are the responsibility of the client.
Any breakages or damage of salon items or products will incur a cost to you the client.
Right to refuse service:
The safety of our staff and clients is our top priority as such The Beauty Project reserve the right to refuse service to anyone if we feel that they pose a health or safety risk or anyone demonstrating inappropriate behaviour to any member of our team.
Refunds:
We do not provide refunds on retail products or gift vouchers. However if a product is deemed faulty we will happily exchange it or offer a salon credit.
Our service guarantee:
We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at The Beauty Project. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your appointment or within 48 hours after you service has been performed.
We will be more then happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge. The service must be a mistake from our end and not something you as a client may of changed your mind about.
Corrective services will not be allowed 3 days past initial service date.
Price increase:
Current pricing for our salon are listed on our website. Prices may be subject to change without notice. Treatment prices may vary if you choose to book in with one of our Senior therapists or Specialists.
Lash extensions from another artist:
The health of the natural lash is always our top priority
We do not refill other lash technicians work due to the likelihood of reactions with the different & unknown previous products.
We can offer a full soak off and consultation with one of our lash technicians to access the health of your natural lashes and book you in for a full set if we think your lashes are in a condition that meet with our standards.
The Beauty Project Official takes no responsibility for any reactions after any of our services, by booking an appointment with The Beauty Project Official you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
